Directions for Use:
Concentrated silicone emulsion applied in the HeatSet web offset process to help condition the paper and to eliminate smearing and streaking. Available in 20%, 30%, 40% and 65% concentrates.
The well-balanced silicone emulsions Versil™ meet the highest requirements of the modern web presses.

Benefits of Application:
• Ensures a stable water-based solution;
• Reduces static charge during web-printing process and during follow-up treatment;
• Improves slipping;
• Improves a final gloss of printed production;
• Performs consistently even coating at high speeds;
• Eliminates deposits and the “fish eye” effect on the applicator rollers;
• Reduces waste, economical in use;
• Improves corrosion resistance of metal surfaces.

Recommendations for use:

Series:

Versil™ 20      Add 6 – 10% to water to obtain a stable milky-white solution.

Versil™ 30      Add 3 – 8% to water to obtain a stable milky-white solution.

Versil™ 40      Add 2 – 8% to water to obtain a stable milky-white solution.

Versil™ 65      Add 1 – 5% to water to obtain a stable milky-white solution.


In order to obtain the right dosage of silicone emulsion,
the use of a measuring device and a Refractometer
(control of Brix level) is recommended.

Storage: Protect from freezing.


Versil™

The silicone emulsions Versil™ are delivered in the plastic drums on 200 kg.
